PLEASE KEEP HAIR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE PRIOR TO SURGERY.

One week prior to surgery:

  • Do not take aspirin (ASA) or drugs containing aspirin e.g. Bufferin, Anacin and some cold remedies. Tylenol can be used.
  • Do not drink any alcohol, including wine and beer.
  • Do not use Rogaine.

One week prior to surgery:

  • Wash hair thoroughly. Do not use mousse or gel.
  • Wear a shirt that has a button front. Do not wear anything that needs to be pulled over the head.
  • Eat a good meal before arriving at the clinic.
  • The drugs administered during the procedure will significantly impair your driving ability, consequently, you should not drive after your surgery. Please make appropriate transportation arrangements to and from the clinic.
  • Please bring a hat or cap to wear home after the surgery (optional).
